Lovingly built (out of burnt orange laterite blocks) using doors, windows and pillars, salvaged from traditional Coorg houses, the cottage offers snug rooms with fantastic views from every aspect, including the bathrooms! The bathroom is an experience by itself, with its partly open-to-sky ceiling and private garden. The house was also recently featured in the Indian Express paper for its unique style and sensitivity to local culture and traditions. Nearby, the surrounding slopes and valleys opens up with great trekking trails, indigenous birds, natural streams, fragrant cardamom gardens and varied vegetation.
